LOCATION:
Zanzibar Coffee House is a very centrally located hotel. It has a very unique flavour. Essentially a cluster of apartments above a well-renowned and busy coffee shop (each hotel suite is named after a type of coffee). The Zanzibar Coffee House Hotel offers a touch of magic and romance in an authentic Arabic house deep in the heart of Stone Town. Transformed into a stylish hotel with harmonious interiors, antiques and rich fabrics, it is one of the oldest buildings in Zanzibar constructed by the Wazir to Sultan Said Bargash in 1885.

NUMBER OF ROOMS & DESCRIPTION:
Most stunning of the 8 individually designed rooms is the Arabica Suite with its terracotta décor and low Arabic sofas and the plush Bourbon Suite with two adjoining rooms in cobalt blue and gold. All rooms at the Zanzibar Coffee House are air-conditioned and have traditional Zanzibar four-poster beds with lavish mosquito nets, rare lamps, antique furniture and unusual details.

RESTAURANTS & BAR:
Breakfast is good and may include pastries, fruits, unusual and various homemade jams, fresh juices, made-to-order waffles, crepes, bacon and eggs (depending on the season) as well as specialty teas and, of course great coffee. It is all served on the hotel’s roof terrace which has a relaxing atmosphere and pleasant view. The busy and popular coffee house atop which the hotel is housed serves exceptional coffee all day as well as simple, high-quality fresh food and a range of tasty exotic cakes, all exceptionally good value.
