Hidden beneath a shaded canopy of tall doum palms, in one of the Selous’ richest areas for wildlife, Lake Manze Adventure Camp is magnificently located on the shores of the lake from which it takes its name.The camp maintains a simple, natural feel, and its rustic charm is reminiscent of the safari camps of days gone by.
NUMBER OF ROOMS & DESCRIPTION:
12 Meru style walk-in tents, each with twin or double beds, flush toilet, outdoor shower and private veranda, are perfectly situated to enjoy the morning ritual: elephants trampling across an old, well-worn elephant trail in front of the camp towards the river.All the tents are situated unobtrusively in the shade of stands of doum palms and other trees.
RESTAURANTS & BAR:
Meals are carefully prepared every day depending on the season and most ingredients come straight from nearby village farms or nearest city. Cuisine is European with some Tanzania flair and spice. Dining is family style (communal) where the guests sit together and chat over the days` activities.
