Kati Kati Tented Camp is a mobile tented camp located in central Serengeti. It is strategically located to cover the vast Serengeti Plains. Kati Kati Tented camp offers comfortable accommodation and a unique opportunity to enjoy a real safari camp experience. It is only a two hour scenic drive from Olduvai Gorge Museum and Grumeti River.
NUMBER OF ROOMS & DESCRIPTION:
The camp offers 15 Tents with en suite facilities. Each Tent has a large king size bed or twin bed with shower, hand basin and flush toilet. Light will be supplied by solar lights. The tents at Kati Kati are identical. They stand in one long line in an open area, and with little vegetation. They don’t have a great deal of privacy. Each tent has a small covered verandah at the front, with a couple of deck chairs set out facing onto the plains. Out here you’ll also find a washbasin that the camp staff will come and fill each evening with warm water. Inside, the tents certainly aren’t luxurious, but they are furnished with all the basic comforts you need. Cast iron bed frames are moved apart or pushed together, depending on the guests wishes, and there is a luggage rack and small writing desk. At the back of the tent the small en-suite bathroom has a chemical flush loo, and a 20-liter bucket shower which is filled with hot water on request.

Meals at Kati Kati are wholesome and substantial, freshly made from choice, locally-sourced ingredients. You can dine in style in the well-appointed dining tent or outdoors around the campfire.
